When using a shared hosting service sometimes we need to show hidden files cpanel. For example, you need to edit .htaccess file when developing laravel application but when you open file manager in the panel there are no these files.
- Step 1# Login to CPanel page
The first step you need to do before show hidden files cpanel is log in to your cpanel page. If you do not know your CPanel login please ask your hosting service administrator.
- Step 2# Open The File Manager
Next step is click on File Manager to open your file manager in cpanel.
- Step 3# Open Settings
Click on setting button on right top corner to file preferences.
- Last Step# Check Show Hidden Files (dotfiles)
Check the show Hidden Files (dotfiles) option to show hidden files cpanel and click Save.
